We had Helen's new born pictures taken yesterday. It was so much fun. Mandi was so great with Ele and took so much time to get everything just right. We cant wait to see how they all turned out but here is the one we have now...

Zack's Shack

We are still here :)

I know I know its been way to long. We are still alive. We have been having a fun and BUSY summer. Here is what we have been up to...
Zack had a birthday 7 years old. I cant believe how fast time goes.
Danny and I went back to Sacramento with some of his mission friends
Zack made a mini movie for the Church. We will let you know if anything ever comes of it.
I went on a little girls trip with some of my friends from work :)
We had the Bird Family 4Th of July. (Zack is loving all these cousins that he has now and all the fun sleepover)
A yard sale or 2
A few ward parties out in the backyard
Oh yes we have been getting ready for little miss Ele :)

My mom has been helping me with the baby bedding.
All in all so far so good. We only have 32 more days and then Helen Bird will be here. We have a C-section all set and ready for Aug 22 at 7:30 am.

1st Grade comes to an end

Well its that time of year again. SCHOOL is out. I cant believe my baby will be in second grade. He is just getting way to big. He loved 1st grade and had such a good year.

Mike and Andrea had their baby May 11,2010 he weighted in at 6lbs5oz 19 in. He was a stubborn little thing and didn't want to come all that bad. He gave Andrea a hard time but she was amazing and hung in there. The new little Sorensen Family is doing great.
I am so happy for them. He is such a doll. Its amazing how much you can love someone so much so dang fast.

Oh my little man....

I know every mom feels like they have the best kids in the world and the best husband in the world. But I actual do..
Zack has always been my little man and for about 5 years he was the only man in my life. To him I was the one the one who he looked up to and did everything for him.

Well fast forward a year and look what we have....







All he wants is to be just like his dad. The other day he got out of the shower and said oh I need shave so he got all the stuff out and went for it. (I made sure that the razor was covered so he didn't cut himself)

Zack and Danny will also have piano nights where they play the piano and just mess around. I feel so lucky to have them both in my life. I was so blessed to have Zack he has been such a blessing in my life. I always thought that if I never got married or had any more kids that my life would still be great because of the little man. Now that I have Danny my life has only got better. The way he loves Zack and the way Zack loves him melts my heart. I just never knew how happy I could be.

I know its been far far to long....

I cant believe it has been a year. Wow how time flys. I cant believe all that has happened. This has been such an amazing year. I am so lucky to have such an amazing husband, the worlds best little man and the soon to be best little lady ever.





A few weeks ago school wanted each grade to raise $86.00 for a Wheelchair for 3rd world country's. Well Zack wanted to buy his own so he opened Zack's Shake a cookie and lemonade stand. We were worried he was not going to earn the money, boy were we wrong in just 2 days he made $238.00.He was so happy we were so proud of him.


Yes we are having a GIRL!!!! We are so so excited. She is growing big just as she should and everything seems to be good with her. I am as well big as ever. We cant wait for our little Helen "Ele" to get here.


p.s. don't plan on seeing any pregnant pics of me I am a little tubby and only get bigger with each day, but hey that's what should happen right:)

Here is a pic of our little baby................. one more week. We have an 80% guess of what we think our little baby is but going back to be 100%

Yes that's right we are adding another Bird to our little nest. We are due around August 27,2010. I am 12 weeks. This baby is so different from Zack. I was never sick a day with him and this baby has been making me so so sick. I have been feeling better this week so I am hoping the sickness is gone :)
We went to day to hear the heartbeat. It was so neat. We took Zack with us and he was loving it. He has me convinced it is twins!! Wow I don't know what I would do if it was.(I'm going with just the one) We are going to find out in three weeks if its a girl or boy. I am feeling GIRL. Only because this pregnancy is so so different then with Zack. But we will know soon :)
Danny has been so good to put up with my crazy ups and downs and throwing up the 10lbs i have already put on. He is even good with the fact that by 8 o'clock I am pooped and ready for bed.
Zack is so excited too. He rubs my belly everyday and talks to the baby. He is hoping its a girl too.
Well we will keep up you to date on all things baby:)

The BIggest Loser

Its that time again. Oh how I love my Tuesdays. I love this show so so much. It may have a tiny bit to do with yes you know lets say it now BOB yes my lover Bob Harper. Danny is more then OK with my love for another man. He came into this marriage knowing that I would always love Bob. Anyway back to the point. I love this show. I love that these people are changing their lives for the better and all the hope it gives them. I could go on for days and days about this show but I will stop now. Just watch the show

Christmas and the end of 2009

Wow I am amazed at how fast this year has gone. It has been a amazing year. Even with all the fun happy good things that have happened I am sure glad this year is over. I am looking forward to 2010. I think this year is going to be great :)
