Accutane

Thank you this is my last month of this stupid thing. I was starting to think oh yes this is not so bad. Wrong. I went in and the Doc said, : hey why don't we up your last month just to knock it all out for good" I"m think yes that sounds great.Seeing how I was doing good my face wasn't dry and I was thinking I looked as hot as ever why not. So we did and guess what the dryness is back. I hate it I am so mad. I just pray that when we go to get our engagement pictures it's all better and these 5 months of face hell have payed off. Oh the things we do for beauty.

Friends

I know a lot of people think they have the best friends in the world, but I am sorry you don't. I do. I have such a great group of friends. They have been there for me so many times over my life I would be lost with out them. Some I have been friends with sense birth and some from the good old days of Sage Creek. Others I meet in middle school and some in the last few years. I am so grateful to have each one of them in my life.
Over the years we have still stayed close. We have seen each other through the good and bad times of life. The happiness of marriage, the sadness of divorce, New babies, loved ones lost, And new loves. I just want to say thank you for having the BEST FRIENDS in the world.

Once a month we try to get together and do something. It started with lunch then as more kids came into the picture we had to switch things up. So we do things without the little ones. Anyway last night we went to dinner for Christmas and had such a great time talking about the good old days. We had a few girls that could not make it and we missed them.
I hope everyone in their life time is lucky enough to have a least one great friend, I have been blessed with many. Thanks ladies for being the best. I love you all.

Should'nt you be at work???

I just have a question I want to throw out to you my blogging friends. What is the deal with men being at the gym in the middle of the day? I mean like one o'clock. I feel guilty myself being there at that time but its the only time I can go when Zack is at school.
I am not a man and the main bread winner of the house. I just don't get it. And its about 5 to 1 men. I can see guys still in school but not guys that should be at work. Oh also these guys are the type of guys that think they are super cool. You know Tank tops white high top shoes, short shorts.
My Christmas wish is for you gym rat man to get a job or get some longer shorts!

I don't even know were you would find these type of shorts??

Yes, yes you have worked hard, throw that leg up over the bench.

Purple tank top need I say more?

Me trying to enjoy my work out. I only lift 3lb weights I don't want to bulk up for the wedding

I don't know what gym they go to but they are enjoying themselves!!

I am getting Married!!!

Yes it is true I am the luckiest girl in all the world!! Danny asked me to Marry him last night. It was out of the blue (I knew it would happen but just didn't know when) And like everything Danny does it was perfect. The Ring, the book, the dinner, the flowers (not red roses) the music All of it.
I had given up on the idea that good guys were left. I have never been so happy in all my life to be wrong. Danny is worth every dork, mean, stupid guy I had to date and every hard time I have had. Plus all the ones I have still to come.
I love Danny with all of my heart and have never known a love like this in all my life. To know that someone loves you for you is the best thing in the world. I can not wait for April 16, 2009. Look out St George Temple The Birds are flying South!!!!

This is the book that Danny made to pop the question. Enjoy
We do have more pictures but they are still to come.
I just looked on Dannys Blog and this is what he had. See why I love him so much and why I am so happy!
IT"S OFFICIAL...I'm ENGAGED!
December 8, 2008
So I got the ring back form the Jeweler last Friday, so I decided to go and talk with Nancy's Dad (and Mom). I knew that Nancy was busy making Holiday Chocolates with my mom and sisters...and sister-in-law, so it gave me the perfect opportunity to visit with her parents without her knowing. I had originally planned to propose on Saturday, December 13th but Nancy and her mom were going to Kurt Bestor Christmas Concert and staying over night in Salt Lake City...so then I decided that I would do in on Thursday. On Sunday, my dad mentioned that we were going to be going to St. George for a grand opening of a construction project my brother Devin had just completed...so this meant that the only day I had 'open' was Monday night!
Here is how it all went down...
Even though it was put together last minute, I already had everything ready so I made a few phone calls to my two sisters and my mom and they hurried and helped me get everything ready. I had originally planned to go to a park where Nancy had taken me on a "blind fold" date. I had a large canopy tent with a tall bar table & chairs ready to be set up with lights and a heater to keep us warm. It started to snow early Monday morning, so I thought it would be too cold and not very enjoyable for either of us which caused me to quickly change my plans again and set up a private table in my front room / library of my house.
This actually turned out to be even better. My mom let me borrow some nice dishes, gold silverware, goblets, candle sticks, napkins and the works. I picked up the flower's (no not your traditional RED ROSES...I had Gerber Daisey's and other colored roses arranged in a vase) and decided to stop by Nancy's mom's work to explain that I needed to cancel our previous dinner plans with them, because I was going to actually propose to Nancy.
We had already made plans to go to dinner with Nancy's parents, Zack and her brother Mike and his wife Andrea to celebrate my birthday last week. I had a meeting at my office from 5pm to 6pm for a new development, so I texted Nancy and asked her to have her parents drop her off at my office and help me clean up after my meeting then we would just drive and meet her family at the restaurant.
Meanwhile, my sisters had got my house ready, picked up the take-out dinner (especially the lemon passion cake), and had the candles lit and music playing when I brought her back to my place...i didn't know that they would be hiding upstairs listening to the whole proposal, but it was funny when I found out they had stayed. Gotta love your sisters.
After my meeting, Nancy and I cleaned up and than she said that her parents had ran an errand so we had about 15 min. until we needed to meet them at the Restaurant. I told her I wanted to run home and change my shirt, so she blindly drove back with me to my house where she was shocked as we walked inside and saw that we really weren't going to be eating dinner with her family tonight!
We walked in and the house looked perfect. The music was playing, the candles were burning and everything looked perfect. I think she was caught off guard, but soon when I had her sit down and showed her the book that I had written...she knew this must be the moment she had been waiting for.
Click here on this link to view the book I wrote and published through Costco!
http://www.mypublisher.com/bookshelf/bookviewer.py?d=tq%3Ey-cppl%60je%3E3538897
After I read the book and proposed, we ate dinner. We called her parents and had them come to our house to see the ring. When then spent the rest of the night driving around to our grand parents, parents, and brothers and sisters homes to show off the ring!
I will post the pictures from the proposal night. They are on my sisters camera and I don't have them downloaded yet.
Anyways, I am sooooo excited to have met Nancy and little Zack. I look forward to being apart of their lives. Nancy has been so patient with me in teasing her about when and where I would propose. I love you Nancy & Zack!
Also, thanks to both my family and Nancy's family. I love you all...
P.S. The date has been set for April 16th 2009...in the St. George Temple! We will keep you informed if the date changes.

Sonic

I have had this on my mind for some time now but never want to say it in fear of hurting someones feelings but to hell with that.....
What is wrong with the people that work at Sonic? Is it that hard to get a drink right? I mean come on 32oz Diet Dr Pepper extra ice and a lime. They never get it right. I don't get it. I am not ordering a million things just one one little drink to get me through the day. They can not get it right. Its not just the Springville one its all of them. I am not saying the never ever get it right just about 60% of the time.
Why keep going you ask? Because they are so so good and the ice oh the ice just makes it all the better. Plus during happy hour the a super cheap. So I guess I can get over it and hope they get it right or find some place new.

* If you are reading this and a now working at Sonic or have in the past please don't be made just help me understand how this happens. Like for example I ask for a lime and get a lemon? Ask for extra ice and don't get any? Ask for diet and get it hard? Please please help me.

Happy Thanksgiving

I love that we have a Holiday that is just for eating. Yes I know its also to be thankful but it also about food. This year was just as great as all the rest. Lots and lots of good food. The great thing about Thanksgiving weekend is you get to eat all weekend, boy did I ever.
That is one of the reason you will not see a single picture of me. I was eating the whole time. But the main reason is that Wednesday night I thought to my self, self your roots are starting to show why don't you just color it yourself and save $90. Me thinking to myself, self you are so smart that is a great idea. So I did just that. Well you guessed it. Did not turn out like I'd hoped it would or anyone would ever want their hair. That is unless you would like your hair to look like Lemon Meringue pie with bright white strips? No I don't think you would.
It was so bad. Zack being the great son he is keep saying, " I like it mom it looks good. I like how its all yellow on this part and all white over here, looks cool!" I am a dumb a@# for even trying it. So yes I called every place in the book and found someone to get into first thing Friday morning. It is still kinda bright but not as bad. So lesson for the day do not try and color your own hair!

Whats new

So when you don't blog for a week you feel like your missing out, so I am so happy to be back. I am happy some of you want to keep reading. So I am trying to think of whats new in last last week. not to much I didn't even take to many pictures, 1 my camera is crap,2 I knew I wasn't blogging so I didn't take any.

I did get some of Zack playing in the snow. He was so excited he was out playing in it a 9 in the morning. I hate winter. I am not looking forward to it at all. I feel like a bad mom in the winter because I don't want to play out in the snow. I am just a much better summer mom. Who knows maybe I will like winter this year,I mean what if it snows like 4ft and I just love it(don't think so!) The good thing about winter is Christmas. I love Christmas, so that is good. One other good thing about winter is next comes Spring. Big fan of Spring. Well now you all know how I feel about winter I will stop because this is getting kinda dumb.

He has no choose all the men in his life are true blue fans. Long story short he went as Max Hall. Hope you all enjoyed your Halloween as much as we did.
