Running Anyone?

We made it, no one died and we all still like each other. I had such a fun time we did not win we let the team from BYU take it with a time of 17hrs and 25 mins.(fyi that is about 5min 30sec miles) I mean we were so close but then said no they will be sad if they don't win.
For be its not so much the running in 95 heat at 4 in the afternoon, but just being with each other, Danny falling of the bench, me throwing up for half a mile, seeing ladies drive into things, the sprinklers turning on when your trying to rest before your next run, Making a stop at the honey pots.
I did have a great time. Thank you so much team Lightly Chafed!!!!!!

I need to say thank you to Rachel, and her kids for watching Zack Friday morning so that I could go run. He had so much fun. Thank you! Also Papa, I think Zack had the best weekend of his life. You mowed the lawn, killed aunts, went to Sonic, watched Sponge Bob, And More then anything learned to ride a bike on two wheels. Thanks dad your the best!

Family fun, or crazy?

Yes it is that time again, summer running. Tomorrow morning we are off to the great city i Logan Utah to start out on our 181 mile race. Crazy I know but each team has 12 runners so you yourself are only running about 15 miles give or take, some a little more and some a little less.
This is the 3rd year I have done it and it is so fun. I think this year will be the best because of the team. It is all family, and that makes it better.
Van #1: Runner 1: Karen (our good fit little mama) 18.5 miles
Runner 2: Danny 15 miles
Runner 3: Me 15.6 miles
Runner 4: McCall ( Andrea sister, that I hope will be mine too)13.2 miles
Runner 5: Rob (A family friend, he is super fast like under 7min miles) 16.9
Runner 6: Curt 16.1 miles
Van #2: Runner 7: Dan (cousin) 12.1 miles
Runner 8: Katie (cousin) 16.4miles
Runner 9: Andrea 12.9 miles
Runner 10: Mike 14.3 miles
Runner 11: Amy ( cousin) 11.5 miles
Runner 12: Casey (cousin) 13.5 miles
You run 3 times so you are not doing it all at once, and each leg is different some are up the side of the mnt in dirt. Others you run at 4 in the after noon so its way hot. Others run at 2 in the morning, in the cold, and dark. As crazy as it sounds it is one of the funnest thing I have done, at times yes it sucks but at the end its oh so nice. So I cant wait. Love you all!
* Also if it sounds like we are making my mom run the most, it is true but she is one strong old lady and she can go and go, she loves it so we are not being mean!

Girls Camp

Yes you can see I am a child of the late 80's and early 90's. This movie was key in my childhood. This coming week I am going to be taking on my own Troop. Yes you guessed it I get to go to girls camp.
For those of you that don't know I am not much of a camper. The great out doors and I are not one. I am not the biggest fan. How ever if I can have a shower and sleep in a camper I will go, but I would rather be laying out on a beach some place.
I only went to girls camp two, or three times when I was in young women's, because I hated it. Now its all coming back to me. I get to go for a week!!!!!
It should be fun, and I know the camp leaders have put a lot of time into it to make it be a fun thing for all the girls. SO who knows after this week I could want to move into a tent and never shave my legs again........ Don't worry Danny it wont happen :)
