I cant believe it has been 5 years that the best thing in the world came into my life. It was a Sunday, a lot like this morning. I got up at about 7:15 to get ready for church and when I got up my water broke. No one was home, my parents were on a walk, my brothers were driving home from Philadelphia. Lucky for me my dad got home right then. We hoped in the truck and were on our way ( not before he made me sit on a towel, didn't want his truck to get dirty)
Jake was there when we pulled up. Then began the waiting game. Nothing was happening, we waited and waited. At about noon they gave me my epidural, that was oh so nice! Then we did a little more waiting. My brothers drove and made it before the little man came, so then they came over to join all the fun. At about 9:30pm with nothing happening or even changing Dr Nance asked what I thought about a C-section? Seeing that I was still at a 1 and my water had been broke for so long he felt it was a good idea. I was up for what ever. So they called whoever they needed to and got it ready.
They took me into the cold white room and about 5 mins later the little man was here. 10:40 p.m 6lbs 3oz 19in long. They took him to do what they do and got to work on me.
He was so tiny and sweet. I knew my life had been changed forever for the better. 5 years later I am still the luckiest mom in all the world. These have been the best 5 years of my life. I don't know what or were I'd be with out this great blessing in my life. I love him so much and am so thankful for the chance to be his mom. Thank you Zack for being you and being my best friend in the world. I love you so much!!!
