Today is my grandpas 83th birthday. We had a little party yesterday for him. It was fun. He is the best grandpa in the world. We have been so lucky to have him so close to us. They only live about 1/2 mile away from us, we were once in the same ward for a while.
Growing up was the best because they got to come to all our games and birthdays, dance things, Sunday dinners and on and on. This year they will have been married for 60 years. They are such a great example to all of us! Love you both!!!

I love that picture! He really is the best Grandpa. I always felt lucky to have such a great Grandpa since my dad wasn't really the dad you dream of. Grandpa always filled that void for me and honestly, I still have a soft spot for him in my heart, even on grumpy days, because he is such a great guy. And Grandma is amazing too- 60 years of marriage is crazy! They are an amazing couple! Happy Birthday, "Grandpa Wa-wee!" :)
